About Us

What happens when two successful restaurateurs join forces to honor the ancient culinary tradition of Chinese food? The answer is a legendary restaurant that has changed the way Asian food is viewed throughout the country.

P.F. Chang’s is the creation of Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming. Philip Chiang spent years honing his restaurant skills while running the Chinese restaurants that his mother had opened in California. He found a fan in Paul Fleming, who got his start as a franchise operator of several successful steakhouse locations. Paul was amazed by the food he found in this Beverly Hills restaurant, and wanted to bring these flavors back to his native Arizona.

In 1993, the two friends decided to combine their talents, and P.F Chang’s was born. From one location in Scottsdale, Arizona, the concept now has over 210 U.S. locations and another 95 across the globe.

The menu at P.F. Chang’s embodies our Farm to Wok™ food philosophy. Everything on our menu is made by hand every day, just as it’s been done in China for thousands of years. Whenever possible, we work with local farms to get the freshest possible ingredients. This attention to detail makes us one of the best restaurants in Denver, or any of the many cities where a P.F. Chang’s location can be found.

Chinese Food at P.F. Chang’s

An extensive menu means there’s something for everyone at our top Denver restaurant. While we’re known for many dishes, our biggest claim to fame may be Chang’s Lettuce Wraps. This secret family recipe is closely guarded, but the chicken filling in this staple dish is so beloved that some people skip the entree and just eat these instead! They’re our #1 best selling item across all locations.

Other delicious signature Chinese food options include Mongolian Beef in a sweet soy glaze, Crispy Honey Shrimp, and Chang’s Spicy Chicken in our sweet-spicy chili sauce. If you’re craving noodles or rice, our wok-tossed fried rice is a classic. Or for something a little different, try our Long Life Noodles & Prawns — garlic egg noodles topped with crispy prawns and chopped black beans.

Dim Sum

Before dim sum was a major trend, we were serving up handmade dumplings, spring rolls, wontons, and pot stickers in our Chinese restaurant. Creating the perfect little parcel is a skill that can take years to master.

Our pork and shrimp dumplings are both available pan fried or steamed. Or try our Mongolian Potstickers filled with tender beef and served with a sweet and savory dipping sauce. For something lighter, we have traditional Vegetable Spring Rolls or Crispy Avocado Spring Rolls served with a sweet orange dipping sauce.

Dim sum makes the perfect appetizer or side dish to go with your entree. Get enough to share!

Explore the Asian Culinary Tradition

Asian food world, taking inspiration from Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese traditions. It may seem unusual to serve food from so many different Asian countries in a self-styled Chinese restaurant. But founder Philip Chiang, while born in China, grew up in Tokyo and then in San Francisco, so he developed a love for many different culinary styles.

From the Japanese tradition, our top Denver restaurant serves inventive hand-rolled sushi. The Kung Pao Dragon Roll starts with a classic California roll, but is topped with seared Ahi tuna, peanuts, crunchy tempura, and spicy sriracha. And the Lobster Avocado Roll has wild lobster with a fragrant curry aioli and avocado for something completely unique.

Also from Japan comes our ramen selection. Ramen, while originally from Japan, was first made with Chinese wheat noodles. Our Spicy Miso Ramen has a light but fiery miso broth with shiitake mushrooms, green onion, carrots, and bean sprouts. And our Tonkotsu Ramen has a heartier creamy pork broth with lots of veggies and chewy noodles.

As much as we love traditional Asian food, there’s also a special joy that comes from experimenting in the kitchen to come up with something new. Our Asian Mac & Cheese starts with Korean tteok “rice pasta,” which is made from a steamed flour. It’s topped with Asian mushrooms, creamy cheese, and truffle oil for a rich, decadent play on the American classic.

For a side dish that everyone will love, our Kimchi Fries combine the unique flavor of kimchi with the ever popular steak fries. Kimchi is a spicy and tangy Korean staple made of fermented cabbage. The fries are smothered with cheddar and mozzarella, edamame, Korean ketchup, and spicy gochujang mayo.

When you’ve finished your meal at the best restaurant in Denver, make sure you’ve saved room for dessert. Banana Spring Rolls have fresh banana in a thin wrapper, fried to a golden brown and drizzled with vanilla caramel. These perfect bites are served with tropical coconut-pineapple ice cream. Our Bao Donuts are rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with a trio of dipping sauces — miso-caramel, raspberry, and coffee-vanilla.

But of course, nothing beats a classic chocolate cake...except maybe a 6-layer slice of chocolate cake in our Great Wall of Chocolate!

Drinks

Our focus on handmade dishes extends past our food offerings and into our drink options. We make our fresh juices and cocktail mixers in-house, including our beloved ginger beer. We have an extensive full bar, and our trained mixologists can make you one of our custom creations, or your own classic favorite. We also have an award-winning wine list, and Asian and American beer at our top Denver restaurant.

And if you’re looking for something delicious without the alcohol, try one of our non-alcoholic refreshers instead!

Dietary Restrictions

For our guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, we’re focused on providing an inclusive and safe meal. We have several delicious and filling vegetarian and vegan options, like our vegetarian lettuce wraps or Buddha’s Feast.

We also have a gluten-free menu. All gluten-free items are made in a separate part of the kitchen with special gluten-free woks and utensils. And you can check our easy-to-navigate “allergens matrix,” making it easy to determine what is safe for you to eat.

Lunch at P.F. Chang’s

Open at 11am, 7 days week, P.F. Chang’s is a perfect place for a quick lunch. Our signature bowls are filling, delicious, and full of protein and veggies to keep you energized throughout the rest of the day.

Korean Bibimbap has chicken, fresh greens and veggies, and Asian mushrooms, served on a bed of rice and topped with a fried egg and kimchi slaw. The Chiang Mai Noodle Bowl features marinated chicken and ramen noodles in a coconut curry broth, topped with crispy wontons. And if it’s a working lunch, feel free to take advantage of our free wifi. Or you can order takeout to bring back to the office!

It’s the perfect location to start your evening with a delicious meal before you take in the sights and sounds of this walkable neighborhood. Hop on the Mall Ride when you’re ready to come back to pick up your car! We offer valet parking and street parking.

Our restaurant interior features exposed brick and industrial metalwork, giving it a uniquely Denver flair.
