So many diets, so little time. We understand that everyone’s eating habits are different, which is why we’re proud to work in a kitchen that affords us to cook for everyone. When you have a food allergy or diet restriction, eating out can be stressful. At P.F. Chang’s, we want you to be able to celebrate the food on your plate and the people you’re with.

Because we make our food from scratch to order, we’re able to accommodate many recipe modifications. Here are some of the most common ways our guests make our menu work for them.

At P.F. Chang’s, we have an entire gluten-free menu that includes favorites like Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Chang’s Spicy Chicken, Pad Thai, and even dessert!

In order to ensure you are enjoying a meal that is safe for you, it’s important to let your server know of any allergies when ordering. Your server will alert the chef, who will run an allergen matrix to ensure your meal is prepared safely.

Our food is made from scratch to order, so we’re able to eliminate or substitute ingredients. Additionally, when we prepare allergy-conscious or gluten-free meals, we use a separate, clean wok and fresh, clean utensils.

If you’re looking to eat lighter, we have several entrées that are 600 calories or less, like Ginger Chicken With Broccoli, Hong Kong Style Sea Bass, and Shrimp With Lobster Sauce. Or, our hand-rolled sushi rolls are also 600 calories or less.

Another way to eat lighter is to cut calories and fat from your meal by ordering steamed protein. Steaming is a cooking method that does not use oil. This is an easy way to save on calories without skimping on flavor.

Did you know we make our sauces from scratch too? It’s true! Another way to eat a little lighter is to ask for sauce on the side. This allows you to control how much sauce you put on your meal.

Vegetables of all kinds are a staple in Asian cooking, which is why we offer a variety of vegetarian menu items. Ma Po Tofu is a classic that we make with spicy chili sauce, crispy silken tofu, and steamed broccoli. You can also order Chang’s Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps, which are made with fresh mushrooms instead of chicken.

If you haven’t tried our Wok-Charred Brussels Sprouts yet, they’re definitely a must! Add them as a side dish or appetizer as a delicious way to eat your veggies.

If you’re watching your protein to carb ratio, then a simple way to do this at P.F. Chang’s is to order a high protein menu item, like Mongolian Beef, and skip the rice. We don’t recommend skipping the rice if you’re looking for an authentic experience, but it’s an option for those following a high protein low carb diet.

Be sure to let your server know of any modifications next time you dine with us. Or enter your modifications when ordering online. Happy eating!
