Catering
How much does P.F. Chang’s catering cost?Typical U.S. ranges:
- Boxed lunches / individual bowls: about $10–$14 per person
- Packages: $25–$30 per person
- À la carte entrée pans: serve 6–8 people, $65–$120 depending on the dish.
Delivery fee, tax, and tip are extra. Delivery fee is 10%.
How far in advance do I need to order? As little as 6 hours for smaller orders. Large events should be booked 2–3 days ahead.
For staffed events or custom menus, contact a catering specialist as early as possible. What’s the minimum order?- Delivery: none
- Pickup: none
Do you deliver? What’s included?Yes. We offer three service levels:
- Drop-off — food delivered ready to serve.
- Drop-off + setup — we arrange the spread.
- Staffed event — servers on site (custom quote).
All catering events include plates, utensils, chopsticks, napkins, and serving utensils. Wire racks and Sternos are available for an additional fee.
How much food should I order? For A la Carte trays, each tray serves 6–8 guests, plus rice or noodles separately if the pan does not include them. For boxed lunches, order one per guest and add a few extras if people tend to eat more.
Rice note: Boxed meals include rice. Many à la carte entrée pans do not, order white rice, brown rice, or fried rice as a side.
What’s the difference between boxed lunches and catering trays?Boxed lunches / individual bowls. Each person gets their own meal (entrée + rice; some bundles add a spring roll). Best for offices, meetings, sports teams, and mixed dietary needs.
Catering trays / packages. Shared buffet pans. Better for parties and when you want a bigger variety of appetizers and entrees.
You can mix both: trays for the group, boxed meals for guests with allergies.
Can you accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free guests?Yes. P.F. Chang’s is stronger than most national chains on gluten-free options.

- Buddha’s Feast, Mongolian tofu, Ma Po tofu, vegetarian lettuce wraps, edamame, many salads and sides.

- Dedicated GF items can include lettuce wraps, spicy chicken, Mongolian beef, beef or chicken with broccoli, fried rice, Pad Thai, and Singapore street noodles.
Kitchens still use wheat, soy, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, and other major allergens. Tell us about allergies when you order. Vegetarian items may still contain egg or dairy.

Can I change or cancel my order?- Changes are often due 12–24 hours before the event.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee (up to 50%).
- Third-party listings varies.
Call the restaurant as soon as plans change.
Will the food stay hot?Wok dishes hold reasonably well if you use wire racks and Sternos (add them to the order). Boxed lunches are meant to be eaten soon after arrival. Ask for delivery 10–15 minutes before you plan to serve.
Do you cater weddings, corporate events, and holiday parties?Yes. Typical uses include office lunches, client meetings, birthdays, graduations, holiday parties, and rehearsal-style gatherings.
For 100+ guests or full service (staff, on-site service), work with a catering specialist rather than the standard online menu. A 100-person order is commonly in the $1,500–$2,500 food range depending on choices.
Pickup or delivery — which should I choose?Pickup: Cheaper, no delivery minimum, good if you are nearby and have transportation.
Delivery: Worth it for offices and when you can’t step away
Anything people forget to order?- Rice or noodles with tray entrees.
- Sternos and wire racks.
- Extra sauce.
- Drinks (lemonade, refreshers, bottled sodas).
