WHAT:
The National Geographic Museum will host a Chinese New Year Festival on Saturday, Feb. 6, presented by P.F. Chang's China Bistro. The FREE family festival will take place at National Geographic's Dining Hall and Grosvenor Auditorium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will include food provided by P.F. Chang's China Bistro (while supplies last); film screenings; activities for kids; a table tennis demonstration, exhibition match and tournament; raffles; live performances including martial arts demonstrations; and more.
The public will have the opportunity to receive free tickets to the "Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China's First Emperor" exhibition throughout the day, courtesy of P.F. Chang's China Bistro. Note: Exhibition tickets will not be available for purchase that day. - 150 free tickets will be distributed for the 12 p.m. viewing. Distribution of these tickets will begin at 11 a.m. at National Geographic's M Street building entrance. The tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two tickets per person. Come early!
- Raffles will be held every half hour during the festival beginning at 11:30 a.m. for the chance to win tickets for the 3 p.m. viewing that day.
